vehicles are not updating on the map

Guigo9 months ago

I currently have 12 vehicles with Sinotrack 906L, it was working perfectly for 4 months and approximately 3 weeks ago a problem started that I didn't have before, I already restored the backup and still the error persists:

Error: the trackers are working and the vehicles are moving on the map, but at some point, they get stuck in position and no longer move, they are online, they are sending positions to the system log, you can see the devices sending them through the log system, but they are stuck on the map.

I have to go into phpmyadmin and truncate the tables (position and events) after that the vehicles start working again, this happens at least once a day.

Similar issues have been discussed countless number of times. Have you searched for an answer?

I didn't find anything anton, could you help me?

Usually the issue is with the timestamp. You should check that first.

Guigo9 months ago

would the timestamp be from the server or the devices?

Devices.

I checked all the devices and they are identical to this one.

I will wait tomorrow to see if it will change when there is an error

The same thing is happening to me, but in this case they get stuck offline and don't come back online the GPS device is in optimal condition, and other devices don't update the location on the map. But when I ask for a report or generate a report, It shows me the route of the device and its current location, when on the map it shows me an old position without moving, but in the route or route log the exact and real route and location appears.

I had the same problems. I noticed that the position always froze when leaving or entering a geo fence. After I deleted all geofences and restarted the Traccar server, everything worked as usual again. Even newly created geofences no longer cause problems.

We have a similar problem; the same thing happened about 2 or 3 months ago, and we solved it by deleting and recreating all the geofences, in addition to restarting the backend service. Now the same issue is happening again. In our case, as you can see in the image, after the geofence event occurs, it stops registering new events, and the most concerning part is that the server stops responding to the tracks sent by the device after this, except for the login messages. In the case of messages with the header 0x252504, they need a response from the server; otherwise, the devices send them repeatedly, which can trigger data consumption. (protocol t800x- Topflytech)
