Hello everyone,
I recently upgraded my Traccar server from version 5.8 to 5.9 by following the instructions provided at Traccar Upgrading Guide.
After the upgrade, I noticed that under "Settings > Info," the "Server Version" now correctly shows 5.9. However, the "App Version" still displays 5.8.
I'm looking for guidance on how to upgrade the "App Version" to match the server version. Here are the options I've considered:
Building from Source: Do I need to download the Traccar Web app source code from Traccar Web GitHub and build it manually following the steps outlined in Traccar Web Building Guide?
Copying Files: Is it as simple as downloading the Traccar Web app from Traccar Web GitHub and copying the "modern" folder to /opt/traccar
? (I'm not entirely sure if this method is correct.)
Alternative Methods: Are there alternative methods I should consider for upgrading the "App Version"?
Thank you in advance.
It sounds to me that you simply haven't cleared the browser cache.
Thank you for pointing that out. You're absolutely right. I hadn't cleared my browser cache.
My apologies for the oversight. Everything is working perfectly.
