unexpetced users after 6.5 upgrade

HI,
I recently upgraded to 6.5 and to my surprise, I see tons of unexpected users created, which I had to delete manually.

Has anyone experienced the same?

Do you have registration enabled on the server? Seems like some spam accounts.
