Traccar on Synology with chinese tk103

Hi.

I want to connect my chinese tk103 to my synology
I see the connection in my log files. see below

But traccar tells me it's offline

yes i have read that.
My tk103 is configured with port 5001 (adminip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 5001)
then my router has a port translation 5001 -> 55001 (synology)

My identifier is 07078295486 (IMEI 352887078295486)

And how did you determine that port 5001 is the correct one?

How do you mean the right one?
The manual tells me that i can configure the port myself by sending an sms. So i set it myself to 5001
Or do HAVE to use it's default port?

Why did you pick port number 5001?

Uhmm because it's the firts one from 5000....
because default traccar runs on 5000-5999

But i'm confused.
Normally when you program a port it has to communicate with, it will use that port.
But i understand th th103 can communicate over another port that is programmed?

I think you need to carefully read the documentation again. Even though your device might be called TK103, it doesn't mean it uses the same protocol that the original TK103, that we named the port after. That's why you have to test all ports that we listed there.

It's working now.

I found this https://www.traccar.org/identify-protocol/
I saw 7878 in the hex and tried port 5023 and it's working now.
