tk103 packet

Curious. In the following decoded packet (from Testing suite)

(864768010869060,DW30,050117,A,5135.82713N,00001.17918E,0.089,154745,000.0,43.40,12)

What is the 43.40 in the 2nd to last position. It looks like it's right after the course. I also can't figure out the 12.

You have to check the protocol documentation.

Yeah just says it could be 8 bits after the course as IO State I'd have expected that to be 8 0s or 1s. Not 43.40,12

Are you sure you're checking the DW30 message type?

David Cole3 months ago

DW30 is not found in https://www.traccar.org/protocol/5002-tk103/KX402_GPRS_V15_EN.pdf
Under: 4.1 it lists the GPS location message - where I pulled that text from
And in: https://www.traccar.org/protocol/5002-tk103/TK103%20GPS%20Vehicle%20tracker%20user%20manual3.doc
Also not mentioned. So I'm not sure where in the "You have to check the protocol documentation." I am supposed ot be looking.

You have to ask your device vendor to provide the documentation for your specific device.
