I don't know much about Teltonika devices, but I don't think it's required to update firmware to change server. Traccar supports all versions of Teltonika firmware.

I got some FM1100 devices from my work when they decided to change fleet tracking devices.
Is it possible to put a new firmware in the units so I can use them with my own server?
