Telegram notifications - Messaging only possible in groups?

Hello,

i just need some short confirmation: Is the telegram notification only possible in a telegram group, where the bot is a member? I know it from other bots, that you can directly communicate with them in a personal chat.

So with traccar you always have to manage that with a group where the bot is a member?

Well, I'm receiving telegram notifications directly from my bot on a personal chat. First I started a chat with my bot, then I got the chat ID from telegram API and them I did put it on the user attributes (traccar). Its working.

thanks, i tried again. started the @userinfobot to find out my personal id and added it at notificator.telegram.chatId. Now it works :)
