You dont have an command to see the device config? , to actually see to which server the device now points too.
I have all my SinoTrack 5 units server reporting changed to my own private hosted on Raspberry Pi using DDNS service with great success.
Since my country Malaysia blocks by our goverment regulations all SMS with URL blocking so Google URL links via SMS is blocked and same goes domain name entry in SMS too. The only way is to use IP address when switching reporting servers via SMS or you can bypass this by using the Device Text Transport features at SinoTrack tracking site to make the shift changes.
By the way new SinoTrack GPS Trackers comes with version 2 firmware dated as follows with option to disable Google URL links via parameters "GURL:ON" as seen via "CXZT" command. You can see general config command via "RCONF" with current config parameters.
ST-906L/4G,ID:0123456789,PW:0000,U1:,U2:,U3:,MODE:GPRS,POWER ALARM:OFF,ACCSMS:OFF,ACCCALL:OFF,GEO FENCE:OFF,OVER SPEED:OFF,VOICE:ON,SHAKE ALARM:OFF,SLEEP:OFF,GURL:ON,APN:net,maxis,wap,IP:rodyeo.dyndns.org:5013,TIME1:30,TIME2:30,TIME ZONE:0.0

Yes, I agree SinoTrack Tracking portal sucks. I love it on my private TracCar Raspberry Pi Server.
So, Ip 45.112.204.242
port 8090
is from Sinotrek server. What command did you send exactly to change the server ip ?
I changed server reporting using this command via Text Transport option at SinoTrack Portal.
8040000 rodyeo.dyndns.org 5013
If you are trying to use the following format which contains domain names in within SMS commands and certain country telco will automatically block it and the command will not reach the SinoTrack GPS tracker device to take effect of the server reporting changes. Only IP address works! Not domain names. Please take note "rodyeo.dyndns.org" is just an example of a domain name.
Apologies for the confusion using example of a domain name "rodyeo.dyndns.org" in here to illustrate a reporting server name.
Again not to disclosed any personnel user information in this forum as a reminder by the forum administrator.
So you did try?
8040000 yourserverip 5013
To check if it changes the ip in your tracker?
You also used the port tester to check if server port 5013 is open from the internet?
I did try everything.
I manage to change devices on put it online on Ruhavik, but on Traccar, no way. I did everyting by the book. When I chancge servers and port to Traccar device send SET OK, but it just don't appear online.
I wolud love to do what Rodney Yeo did, put that on on Raspberry Pi using DDNS service. Problem is that I dont know how to do that so I have to learn first
It is indeed easy if you follow the logical setup steps by Track-trace guide.
Also not forgetting to setup IP Forwarding on your home router for your Raspberry Pi NAT Firewall Rules to exposed the TCP ports service 80, 443 and 5013 numbers accessible from Internet to your LAN to your TracCar server on Raspberry Pi 3B+ minimum hardware specs.
For DDNS service use mooo.org free dynamic DDNS service and install ddclient in your Raspberry Pi TracCar Server too.
Best to use ... 8040000 Your-DDNS-Domain-Name 5013 ... else temporary use SMS command to set your WAN Public IP Address ... 8040000 Your-WAN-IP Address 5013 ... then once connected online then issue another command via TracCar send Custom Command to ... 8040000 Your-DDNS-Domain-Name 5013 so once your home broadband Public IP changes DDNS domain name will auto update every 5 minutes to your WAN public IP.
I hope my explaination guide helps. Good luck learning. Remember not to share your personnel info in this forum to avoid being ban by forum admin. BTW my first account is already ban for eternity since I violated this forum admin rules. Sadly but true. Cheers.
I hope the forum admin is passionate enough not to also ban my second account as I am in the mist to share a new piece of information of how to disable Google URL links "GURL:OFF" sms code command once I get the reply info from SinoTrack sales team since I bought another two units of ST-906L-4GE with latest version 2.0 firmware.

Yes, you need to learn ftom scratch the basics. Nothing comes easy life spoon feeding babies.
Does anyone know how to unlock the device ST 901 gps tracker to work on the Traccar app? I bought 4 GPS trackers ST 901 and it's locked to SinoTrack. I'm not happy with that app and I wanna try Traccar. I tried sending a message to device to change IP address but it didn't work. Device respond with SET OK, but on Traccar app devices are still ofline.
Has anybody done this before and can help ? Thank You
