It's not implemented. There is no short term plan for it.
As I'm itching to finally contribute something back to this awesome project - are you open to the idea of accepting a PR if I manage to implement this feature? Probably with the help of OSRM API.
Sure. Are you planning to do it on backend or web app? I think backend is better.
I actually didn't have too much time to look into Traccar code itself. Just finished migrating from a fork/web ui mod to latest version of Traccar - so I mostly worked with DB for now. But now that I have a build and staging environment, I'll start looking into Traccar structure/code. On the overview, OSRM Match service looks ideal for this.
I'll pop up back here when I have a general idea on how I wish to do it for your feedback.

I used Traccar UI before with a feature called snap to road. Is this a implemented in Traccar or planned to be implemented in the future.
