As I know, timer 3 is the heartbeat, and the unit is in seconds.
Tech suppprt replied that the 300 value refers to the connection between the server and tracker (i.e. Heart Beat interval of 5 minutes) The feedback from the technical staff is that you can ignore this settings.
SinoTrack Tech Support feedback states that there are no specific modification instructions for UT: Timer3 (Heart Beat Interval 300 seconds)
I have just accidently found the solution to setting ST-906L and ST-904L SinoTrack device trackers to accept Domain Name format but it can only be set using TracCar Device Custom Command Upload function and not via SMS command send method which failed earlier.

Anyone knows what is the secret send command for Timer3 ?
Thanks.
