What do you mean?
You provide free and open source gps tracking system, so is there any open source available for sim based tracking system.
What's sim based tracking system and how is it different from Traccar? We support any types of tracking devices.
so sim based tracking is getting the information of a device using the phone number (SIM card ). We can track a person using his/her SIM card, we will just use the mobile number and ask for the consent from that person. If he/she gives the consent(allow to track) then we can get the location of the person.
Traccar is a universal system. It doesn't matter where your location is coming from. It could be GPS, cell towers, wifi, bluetooth etc. It doesn't matter. All of those scenarios should work fine.
We have created a server, we have deployed the traccar service. Now we are not able to understand how to build connection between our server and mobile device having sim.
How can you get the device location? Is there some API?
Actually we want to build a connection of the mobile device to our server , so how it can be done ? Is it possible, to send location data from mobile device to traccar server and we can use traccar apis to implement our ui.
You can. We support many different protocols. Check the documentation.
You need a SIM tracking API from your mobile operators for that to work.
Do you provide sim based tracking
