It will be nice if a hacker could make a customisable firmware and upload using USBASP interface to the non solder header port on the tracker.
I bought my SinoTrac Device from AliBaba seller direct from their factory.
I have just accidently found the solution to setting ST-906L and ST-904L SinoTrack device trackers to accept Domain Name format but it can only be set using TracCar Device Custom Command Upload function and not via SMS command send method which failed earlier.

The 906 is a Quectel L76KB-A58 with SimCom A7670SA.
My MCU knowledge is a bit lacking to do much more at present.
Great! You have the all universal open LTE band with SimCom A7670SA. Mine is A7670E model restrictive LTE band only. I will try to serial com terminal into the unit via serial port surface contact header to the MCU shortly using AT commands.

I notice ST906L-4G will only stay active online for 30 seconds only then offline for next 30 seconds then repeates the whole cycle again as monitored via my TracCar R&D Server.
ID number of SinoTrack hardware is the TracCar Identifier to be recognised by any TracCar GPS server platform.
I notice SMS command can only be accepted within the 30 seconds window period when the tracker is wake up and online. SMS commands will be rejected when tracker is within the 30 seconds sleep interval or offline.
I manage to switch from SinoTrack Server to TrackCar Demo Server for RnD testing and analysis successfully.
