please can you be so kind and provide an opinion and check if Traccar is vulnerable regardless today posted vulnerability in almost all big GPS tracking services!
The information about the scary named Trackmageddon (sure not me) is raised enough to provide an example why good open source software is great enough, etc. etc. and jojojo and Happy New Tracking 2018 ....keep up the good work!

It looks like the vulnerability is in the GPS tracking software developed by Thinkrace, so it doesn't really apply to Traccar. The codebase is completely different.
There were some small security issues with Traccar in the past, but the ones that I'm aware of have been fixed a long time ago. Make sure that you always use latest release which contains all latest fixes.
