Power Value in Position Table 3.1 Version

Dear Anton,

3.1 Version does not have Power value in the position table?, How is this now handled.

I am using GT06n devices. and usually I used to monitor the power value based on which I would set alerts/alarms.

As in the "other" there would be "Alarm" value.

Basically, earlier in my app, I was figuring out alarms based on values in (Position table)

So I would look for the term %alarm% in other table, and then check power table to identify if its low power alarm, if not then check for speed value in position table against per-defined/configured value for that device etc.

However how is %alarms handled now ? my device is GT06n please do advice.

Power value is now included in the "other" field if device sends it.

Before power field contained battery level or external power level depending on the device. Now, it's changed to the following:

  • power - only external power value (usually voltage)
  • battery - battery level info (can be percentage or voltage depending on the device)
