Hello,
Testing two Teltonika devices (FM1010 and FM1120) I've found that, when the device gets out of GSM coverage and it stores the gps positions to send them later, you get the following: By default when the Telnonika device goes online again it starts to send first newer positions and finishes sending the oldest ones.
Sometimes happens that, specially if you park into a place with no GSM coverage, last position sent is old and because of that, you can see the device bad positioned in the map (in my case sometimes 1 km away from the most recent position sent) until the car goes out of the parking.
Solve this problem is easy with the Teltonika configurator, just go to "Record settings - sorting" and select "Older" (by default "Newer" is selected).
I don't know if this issue happens also to other devices, but to avoid this problem maybe would be interesting to update "Traccar device latest_position" only if the timestamp of the position is newer than actual last one.
Anyway, I share this info just to inform other Teltonika's users.
Regards,
Manuel MartÃnez
What version are you using? This functionality is already implemented.
Version 3.01 Traccar and Traccar web UI (fork) updated a week ago.
I'll update traccar today.
