No position Logs in between for GT06n

jaimzj9 years ago

Dear All,

I have a GT06n working with traccar server 2.12

The device and server both works fine, I have over 7 GT06n devices.

Out of which, 1 Device today was on the move however, during a certain period between.

10:53 AM to 11:23 AM no position data is reflecting in the db, except for 5 to 6 repeat post/entries of the last entry after which it is now working normal. (Usually incase of data connectivity loss, it does store and submit data later)

I have attached log below.
Device ID : 10
Device IMEI : 358899052108480

As far as I can tell everything is decoded and stored correctly. Your devices just don't send any GPS data. Possibly no GPS signal or your devices just don't report data when not moving.

I am a bit lost on this.

As the vehicle for sure was moving and traveled 3+ km distance in between.

Might settle down for the no GPS Signal possibility, However today also I noticed a similar gap for the same vehicle. I am also trying to troubleshoot if its the hardware/tracking device.

The problem is definitely on the device side. Not sure if it's a malfunction or just configuration issue.

Somehow I am unable to create a new topic on this forum since yesterday. so Adding this question here.

Strange set of log entries found, Unable to understand what this is or where it came from. I did a whois look up on the IP as well, does not explain much. and DEVICE Id (IMIE) also strangely long.

Anyone has any idea?

For the Logs Above, I posted, when I checked the hex codes and dug further it has these values.
From: "sipvicious" and found info on internet it says.

"this is a sip scanner. When launched against ranges of ip address space, it will identify any SIP servers
which it finds on the way. Also has the option to scan hosts on ranges of ports.

When you have a public server, you should expect some port scanners to send some garbage from time to time. I guess you can disable port 5000 in the config to avoid protocol detector spamming the log.
