What OS is it running?
Android 7.1 according to https://m.tomtop.com/p-pw0032.html
Then it should be theoretically possible to run Traccar Client there.
Ah yes, theoretically! I was hoping someone out there has done it practically.
But there's one sure way to find out if it works. All I need is a pioneering spirit and a credit card!
I eventually bought a Rollme S08 from the interestingly named banggood.com. Not cheap at 120gbp but IP68 and promising all the features I need. When it finally turned up I put a Giffgaff SIM in it, installed Traccar Client and, blimey, it worked! And has continued working for several weeks. It's not the most elegant item and not much use as a watch (screen goes off) but as a multifunctional wearable Android tracker it seems just the job for our sailevent.net dinghy sailing application.
Just over a year on and the Rollme S08's GPS chip appears to have failed. Factory reset does not fix it and it seems to be a known problem with no solution. No response from the manufacturer.
I cannot recommend this device.
Has anyone tried running Traccar Client on this device or similar? That would be running standalone and not connected to a phone so the watch is the tracking device.
