Location from LBS or GPS - understanding watch protocol

pavelik6 years ago

Hallo,
my watch protocol device send this message to traccar:

[3G*2706022652*008F*UD,261018,173435,V,50.648922,N,13.8476117,E,0.00,0.0,0.0,0,20,3,0,0,00000001,3,255,230,1,14418,27492,120,14418,27493,118,14418,26644,115,0,23.3]

By the protocol specification it means, that GPS position is not valid and message contains info about cell tower around device. My question:

If it happens, is for location used geolocation provider (I am using google) and traccar try to determinate position from Cell Towers (LBS)? How I recognize it?

Thank you.

Hallo,

I have not specified in config file:
geolocation.processInvalidPositions to true

Here is related thread:

https://github.com/traccar/traccar/issues/3076

Now I understand.
Sorry for my question.
