I have understood that any data sent will be stored but is there a list of the values that are important to Traccar for reports graphing etc?
My GPS will report certain events such as harsh braking and acceleration. How should events be structured in OsmAnd such that they are correctly interpreted by Traccar?
Some events from the GPS we are using don't include position data particularly those from the IN1/2/3 pins which we are using.
The GPS we have are called VT600-3G and VT900 from iStartek.com, but I am not yet sure Traccar has a decoder for them, but I do in our own aap (which is about scheduling rather than being a general purpose GPS app).
What I am considering is do I figure out if Traccar decodes this GPS or do I just reformat our data into OsmAnd and submit it to Traccar that way, for which I would like to submit as much data as I can on with key value pairs that are known to Traccar.
Your iStartek devices should be already supported. As far as I know they use Meiligao protocol, port 5009 in Traccar.
