I'm considering using G109 2G Mini GPS Tracker. Is 2G speed good enough? ( 16kbps in my country)
2G should be good enough for tracking, but 2G is slowly phased out in most countries.
In Germany there are no plans to switch off 2G. A lot of sensors and alarm systems are working with 2G.
In other countries this is switched off.
2G can work over long distances, in areas where you have no connection to cellular or internet the tracking over 2G works well.
You have to ask the provider in your country.

4G models are significantly more expensive. Shall I go with the 2G models?
