Most likely you are trying to use HTTPS protocol with HTTP port.
the server address is https://173.249.58.247 in the client and only 443 is open in the firewall

The address you are using makes zero sense. It would never work. You are trying to use SSL with IP address and you are not even using OsmAnd port.
Correct address to use should be:
http://173.249.58.247:5055Well just to clarify I used port 5055 all the time, just missed it in the post. But the problem was https. All work now
