GPS sensor ON-OFF
It shoul happen automatically if the interval is long enough.
Is at 180 seconds and remain always ON. Use in Android 9.0
Try the APK build and see if it makes any difference.
Downloaded APK from here, uninstalled existing and installed.
Nothing changed, running 10 minutes, still ON.
I guess they changed the API behavior.

In Android Traccar Client, if location accuracy is set to High, GPS remain always on, consumes battery etc.
As this app is running in background and at frequency interval is sending location coordinates, is it possible to switch ON GPS and then switch OFF up to the next time interval?
