GPS connected and reporting but positions are not recorded.

Several days checking and debugging and I found something that could be interesting.

This IMEI is disconnected: 865413058612812

But I see that it stop record position after a call to locationiq failed and it disconnect the device and connect again and after that, it should start to report normally but start to report without record the positions.

The odd thing is that I deleted all locationIQ config file configurations a month ago and restart the server a lot of times.

The only place that I have locationIQ is in the maps settings of the Traccar frontend server.

Should I change it to openstreetMap?

LocationIQ is the default geocoding provider. How did you disable it exactly?

It has nothing at all to do with maps. If you want to disable geocoding, you have to do it in the config file. Please read the documentation.

Ok, but a simple UnknownHostException from the geocoder should not bring the error that the devices do not save the positions, I think that would need a fix, the ideal would be for it to continue reporting and recording without problems.
