Probably because device doesn't report it or the io id is different.
I know it sends it in so it must be the id that is different. is it possible to find out what id it uses?
I have searched for it and think it is IO ID 409
found on this page
https://manualzz.com/doc/24019943/custom-ignition---ruptela-documentation-system
Can I put it into Traccar in a way so that it is displayed in state
You can create a computed attribute to convert the IO into an ignition value.
Ok super.
Is there any documentation on how to do it
Yes, we have documentation for it. Look through the documentation section.
found it but am not sure i am doing it right.
I know there is ignition on DIN4 and that it may be IO ID 409
so how do i enter it under Expression ???
Has now got Ignition under State, but it writes NO and I know there is ignition on the device now
di4? di4 == 0: false
What am I doing wrong ???
Well, let's start with what attributes you currently see there?
Those are all attributes I get now on that device
Time
Latitude
Longitude
Valid
Accuracy
Altitude
Speed
Course
Address
Protocol
Satellites
HDOP
Event
Di2
Io27
Di3
Di1
Io28
Io173
Io29
Io22
Temp0
Io30
Io65
Io150
Io34
Distance
Total Distance
Motion
Ignition
So, I don't see di4
or io409
. That would obviously explain why your expression doesn't return anything.
yes ok
so either it does not send ignition in or Traccar can not show everything that comes from that device or I have the wrong IO ID
Very unlikely that it's a Traccar issues, so probably one of the other two things.
there is a log where I can see what it sends in to Traccar
Has several FM-Eco4 from Ruptela but does not get ignition into Traccar.
I also have an older FM-Tco3 and it shows ignition.
what is the reason why Traccar does not show ignition on the newer FM-Eco4 ???
