I was thinking of a way to stop bad GPS readings when garaging a vehicle. We are putting Android tablets into our Rural Fire Trucks and they will always powered.
My thought was to relate a WiFi Access Point with a set of coordinates. When the Access point is connected, preset coordinates are used to be sent rather than the GPS readings. This would stop GPS readings of up to about 100 metres being sent when the vehicles are garaged.

Ian
You can use third party scheduling app (such as Llama) to turn off Traccar service on the phone when it's connected to specific wifi point, and enable when it's disconnected.
Thanks Anton, That sounds like an excellent option. I will investigate.
Hi Anton, I did not find a way to do it with Llama but have used an app called Automate from LlamaLab.
Cheers, Ian
