error loading device page: TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'name')

vincent4 months ago

Since a while, my devices page is not working. I was hoping a update would fix it, but after a few updates the error is still there. Below you can find the full error. Anyone that can help me how to fix this? Everything else is working, its just the main device page( /settings/devices ) that is not working. Individual device pages and the rest of traccar work.

Hope anyone can help or point me in the right direction!

Are you using the latest official release without any modifications to the code?

vincent4 months ago

Yes i am! pure code from traccar without modification. Only modifications i have ever done is a few things to the config file and the favicon.

Anton Tananaev4 months ago

So it is not the official release, but compiled code?

@Vincent

@anton,

Yes its just the complete package from traccar. Simply installed by running
wget https://www.traccar.org/download/traccar-linux-64-latest.zip and then unzip traccar-linux-*.zip && ./traccar.run

I see i made a dumb error with the picture indeed by not blurring correctly, but cannot edit my post anymore. Can you delete the picture Anton? Here is the correctly blurred one. Hope you can help!

@tracktrace Scherp haha, stom foutje.

Can I have access to check the problem. You can send details over an email to the support address.

Anton Tananaev4 months ago

I'm not able to reproduce the issue. Moreover there are no such files in version 6.2. It means you're not using what you said you were. Possibly you forgot to clear the cache after an update?

Hi Anton,

Thanks for your help. I cleared cache multiple times, seems to have been fixed now. Strange thing is this has been for a while and also on the mobile app. Looks like some sticky stuff:)

Thanks a lot for your help!!

You have to clear all the app cache/data, including web worker.
