Email notification when device is not longer on charge

Hi,

First off let me say this is a great bit of software and works really really well.

I am currently testing a single TK206OBD before I buy 16 of them to use to track our fleet here.

I wanted to know how or if it is possible to have en email notification when the devices charge power goes from yes to no (basically is somebody unplugs the device.

Has anyone tried something similar?

Thanks,

If your device reports it as an alarm, then you should be able to configure email notification for it.

When I click on the device it shows that charge = yes, when I go and unplug the device from the OBD port it shows charge = no.

I am not sure if this counts as an alarm.

Is there some documentation that shows alarms as there is alot of information to try and get my head around.

Thanks

No, that's not an alarm. Alarm usually comes in a separate field. What protocol does your device use?

I am using protocol tk103.

I cant see anything in the TK206OBD manual about alarms other than a speeding alarm.

Traccar supports a few alarm types for this protocol, but no power cut alarm.

Send me an email if you need help with customizing the decoder for power cut alarm.
