Different HEX with different simcards
I don't think it has anything to do with SIM card. Probably your device just doesn't have a GPS fix, so it doesn't send any useful data.
yes, it seems like that's the problem. Strange thing is that no matter how long I wait the device doesn't get a GPS fix with the m2m car in it.
Put device in an area with clear sky visibility. Wait for 15 minutes for a GPS fix. If it doesn't get one, there must be some problem with the device.
Note that GPS signal can be blocked very easily. For example, car roof can block it. Even standing next to a high building can block signal from satellites.
When I put in a prepaid sim card in one of my tk102-2 trackers everything works as it should.
When I put in one of our M2M cards I cannot see our device on the map. In the log it only shows a much shorter hex: 283038373037323538363231314250303048534f29
Anyone an idea what could couse this?
