I heard some US providers are shutting down their GPRS networks, but I don't think it's going to happen in Mexico or any other country any time soon.

I want to buy new GPS trackers but I have a few knowledge about what kind of GPS brand is more efficient and easy to use.
And another question for Mexico people.
I am using a TT8950 (better known as GSM 2458) with Telcel SIM cards but lately Telcel seems they change their transfer data protocol from their SIM cards and my devices can't send information anymore.
Anyone have an answer or solution for this issue? or someone know what is happen at least ?
