Device for tracking persons in woods
Actually you should first make sure that if it is a remote area that there actually is a telecom signal in that area.. Since a tracker works with a simcard you need an internet connection for the tracker. If it does then you can use any tracker which has GPS.. and is supported by traccar..
Its best to check which telecom provider has good signal in that area and use that simcard for your tracker.

we are evaluating GPS trackers with traccar to use in search and rescue operations. In most cases, the team is searching in the wood.
Can you recommend a device for that use case?
Not too big, nor heavy. Operating time about 4 to 6 hours. Optionally, with a clip to attach to the backpack. Preferred, available via amazon or ali express and with network (sim card) already included or built-in.
