Those tables are for computed attributes only.
Ok, but when i edit a device and add a attribute, speedlimit chosen from the dropdown box, set 10kn and go back, check again and its there. Restart server, and after that attribute is empty.
The attribute settings is never saved.
Same results if i do it with group
It probably means that you have some issues in the config file.
I use the default.xml from the installer, just change the database to mysql, as the documentation says, in the traccar.xml
I have tested it myself on one of the demo servers. Works fine, which means that you are missing something somehwere.
After a fresh install of 3.14 with empty database (MySql) there is a problem.
If i add a speedlimit attribute on device or group and check the database table attribute or device_attribute or group_attribute, they are empty and if i restart via bat stopservice/startservice the attribute for the device is empty in web interface
