i'm unable to use my device with traccar, the model is HS800G from china.
i've used Hex Decoder tools, the results is:
*170721173526UB05ORANGE000000010061825V0000.0000N00000.0000E000.0040331309.62^
Please help to identify the right protocol.
i've already trying every chinese port and the 5111 for huasheng too but not working

It seems to be Carscop protocol, port 5040 in Traccar.
Thank you Anton, the device is now online but it's not appear on the map. i've verified the database and the table positions is empty. or in the log the device send positions

I would recommend to upgrade to the latest version of Traccar and try again.
i've upgraded traccar to the last version 3.13 under a debian linux, the device is online but doesn't appear in the map :-(.

Looks like the protocol is slightly different. I would need documentation to fix the problem.
Also, your device doesn't send any location data.
Thank you Anton for your support, i've decoded the HEX data and the location data is there.

Well, in the examples that you provided there is no location data.
after reading the doc, the device need a command before sending the location data. i have some docs from the provider now, how i can send it to you, a PDF document ?
