Changes always cause new expectations, this is sure that the new interface will progress in its correct operation.
An idea to increase the functions of traccar: that a non-administrator user can create a temporary access (it could be a link) where any OTHER user, without having a login and/or password, can see the geographical position of any device that is linked to to the non-administrator user. For example: Jhon has his username and password, NOT an administrator, and he has a delivery motorcycle that has to make a shipment to an unknown client, the unknown client wants to know that his order will arrive at that moment, Jhon would like to send his client a link where he can see the route of the delivery motorcycle. Do you consider that possible function complicated to implement?
It's already possible to achieve a very similar thing with two use accounts. You can create one regular account and one readonly and assign the same device(s) to it.
