Change in protocol "minifinder" from 3.4 to 3.5?

Hello!
Was there a change from 3.4 to 3.5 in the minifinder protocol?
My device does not work anymore after upgrading to 3.5 ...
This is what I did:
I did an upgrade to 3.5 starting from 3.4 on a raspberry pi >> I got some prolems with MySQL database connection, I saw in another thread, that there was a problem with the installer
Therefore I deleted completely the installation and used the internal database for testing purpose (means I have NO connection to MySQL database). I configured all the devices and the server.
But then I figured out, that the devices are not updating their position.
I checked the log files and the messages from the devices are received. They are not marked as unknown devices.
So I deleted again everything and downgraded to version 3.4.
I am using again only the internal database, configured everything and... tataa ... devices are updating their position again.

So I was wondering, are there incompatible changes in the minifinder protocol in the new version?
