The Teltonika devices are very good (and supported well in Traccar, take a look https://www.traccar.org/devices/ ). The FMB204 is waterproof I think, most tracking devices simply require a 12V permanent live, 12V ignition live and a ground. I would buy one and test it out.
Hi Luke,
Would it be good enough for a three wheel ( Auto Rickshaw ?
I cannot see why not, as long as the device is mounted properly.
The FMB20x series is capable of 6V and 12V operations so they're well designed for two and three-wheeled transport like a tuktuk.
It's better if they're installed by a professional electrician if you won't be seeing the vehicles for a while. If a wire comes loose, it will be annoying to fix later.
Hi Luke,
Is it possible for you to please sharw your email as I need help setting up FMB device.
