I should add Linux 64 bit
Adrian
Either way should work just fine. You don't need to delete service.
Thank you I have done a manual update using the traccar-other-4.3.zip on a 32 bit linux install and that has gone fine, I just renamed the original directory to traccarold, in case I wished to go back.
But in 64 bit install I would re-run the installer after removing the /opt/traccar directory, noting to change the permissions back to run as user conf once the new directory was generated.
Thanks again
Adrian
Hello Anton.
Sorry to ask.
When doing an upgrade from 4.2 to 4.3, providing I reuse the original default.xml and my changed traccar.xml, will the changes applied for mysql, ssl running as non root etc etc be affected or will they be OK.
I note in the upgrade it suggests remove old version of traccar, is that just
/opt/traccar
or do I need to go with a full de-install which includessudo rm /etc/systemd/system/traccar.service
etc
Thank you
Adrian
