Anybody having battery drain issues with the TopTen OBDII TK228.
Dodges to be most specific in my case, seems to light up the dash lights when vehicle is off. Have tested in two different dodge trucks. Also lost OBDII communication with a separate device on a Dodge Van.
REASON:
OBD moduel supplier, when vehicle is stopped, if the power consumption from OBD port is higher than 30mA, some Dodge vehicle will send alert, so the light stays on. It's the same for all devices, as long as power consumption is higher than 30mA.
