Can't configure devices

According to your last reply i found a useful link: https://www.traccar.org/troubleshooting/ where i have tested the device configure and logs carefully but still we cant able to configure our device on traccar.

Specifically i am listing my problem again kindly have a look below:

  1. Cant configure device which we are using since few months(htc and At&t brand non chines).
  2. Not able to open position table by default created by traccar system using query select * from position; after that the black screen is locked until i do ctrl+z.
  3. And also not getting positionId which is NULL in side device table in case of newly added device.

Facts are:

  1. Our device able to send to location according to frequency.
  2. We followed the following link https://www.traccar.org/quick-start/ to configure our device using linux server.
  3. We are facing this problem since more than 10 days, even we tried to configure device by walking outside.
  4. Port we are using ranged 5001-5086 are open for use.

The log that you keep posting shows a message that is NOT FROM YOUR DEVICE! Please ignore it.

Again, if there is nothing else in the log, it means that server doesn't receive anything from your device. It means that either there is some network issue, or device just doesn't send anything.

Okay we understand the logs which are currently generating with unknown devices.

We are going to check again our configuration in two ways:

  1. Device not sending (We are using android version 4.1.1 and 4.1.2) is there any issue with those version kindly tell.
  2. Network issues (kindly gives some more specific information regarding network issue).

On the Traccar Client side you should check status screen.

On the server side you should check the troubleshooting page that I provided.

That should give you an indication where the problem is.
