Hi Anton,
Since 2015 I have been working with GPS devices (like the the GV300 series from Queclink and MDVR devices from Howen, IcarVisions and Richmor)
Currently I am running 2 servers running roughly 3000 MDVR + Queclink devices.
Server 1 = CMSv6 server
Server 2 = Traccar server
.
In the past we were renting a virtual server from you but since then I've upgraded to hosting in South Africa.
My questions are:
- Are you planning on upgrading the Traccar platform to allow video streaming services in the future?
- Will Traccar ever support the different MDVR's protocols?
- If not do you have any suggestions related to open source MDVR servers?
I am asking this because even after all these years there are still issues with the proprietary MDVR software. licenses are required, server is not open source, server only works on windows, F&Q is questionable and support is none existent... the list goes on.
I'd rather have people supporting Traccar for video functionality as well.
We don't have any immediate plans for it, but it's definitely on our long term feature list.
Thanks,
Exciting news for the future.
Hi Cale

Many Thanks in advance
