Looking for a module / PCB only to fit inside a notebook. Found a few, are they working? Are there others?

Hey Nina,
I got the ZX908 from your link (aliexpress). This one works for me, although it did come with an external antenna soldered to the tracker. So not the ceramic antenna as shown in the picture. At least for me, maybe they gave me the wrong one, who knows.
Anyway, I used the IMEI as identifier and port 5023 (Protocol GT06).

Can you post which command sent via sms (setting server ip/port, tracking time/interval/etc etc)?
The manual I got with the ZX908 has the following commands:
APN Setup | apn#apn parameter#username#password#
Modify IP/port | server#ip/domain#port#
Modify device ID | deviceid#device id# (this one returns format error for me)
Restore to factory settings | 1122#
Restore default password | pwrst#
Reboot | sysrst#
Set minutes interval | time#minutes number#
Set seconds interval | md#seconds number #
Require device information | INFO#
Small correction on something I said earlier. The GPS Antenna does seem to be on the board. The external antenna is for the cellular connection ;-)

have you checked power consumption?
which is gps accuracy?
a usb port for charging must to be soldered?
I would like build a long running battery device (20000mah), but I need al least 5/10 meters accuracy.

- Haven't checked power consumption no (don't have means to do that at the moment)
- Accuracy is around 20m in the city while moving I'd say. So depending on where you want to use it.
- USB Port depends on the model you get, some have a pre-soldered port, others don't. The one in Nina's origial link to aliexpress does have a USB port, as does mine (for charging only, it doesn't power the device).

One question i don't really understand about zx908, how does it work with the sms functions?
is it possible to send a sms to the zx908 to get the gps coordinates?
if you compare the zx908 with the zx303, the zx303 has a lot of sms functions instead of a website to get gps coordinates.
I don't think the ZX908 can send th location through sms. Only internet as far as I've used it.
I have no experience with the 303

I'm having alot of issues, getting the zx908 to communicate with traccar.
I tried using IMEI as identifier and port 5023 (Protocol GT06).
I only got a ping on the server once, after that, nothing.
Any ideas?

I'd like to put a module inside my notebook, but don't quite know which ones will work with Traccar. So far I found:
I'd prefer a 4G-Module, and it does not matter if the GPS-Antenna is on the PCB already or not.
Do any of the above work with Traccar? Are there any others? Has someone done that before?
