Depends on what you mean by possible. It's possible to implement something like this, but it's not available out of the box currently.
I think it would be useful feature.
I would imagine something like fully remote config for the client. It has a list of options configurable from the UI, and one checkbox, that will only require the server IP:PORT and will download remaining settings from there.

I am looking for a feature to be able to change location update frequency in some situations. This will help to control battery usage. So I can set up standard update rate to quite long, but switch to a frequent update when I am actively tracking the device. Could it be a command?
Or as an alternative to ask an ad-hoc location (via a push message for example).
