You were lucky with your old SIM as it should of stopped working. Try old SIM in new device and configure the settings and see if it happens again

I had a cj780 gps tracker and it was working without having a Internet data plan. It broke so I bought a new one called dagps it has 4g too, it works and all but the dagps updates location only if there's data plan in the sim card, if the megabytes ends it stops working. But my old GPS was working without a data plan, I was not paying for Internet and it was always updating in yuntrack website. What is difference? How I get it to work please someone help
