Device keeps connecting and disconnecting.

matlia year ago

Hi all.

I have a VL502 from JIMIIOT that keeps connecting and disconnecting with the following error in the log. Interesting is that the other VL502 devices stay well connected to the server and the VL502 in question does connect well on another platform. So I am a bit puzzled here. Any hints are appreciated. I noticed when I remove the device from the server and re-add it it appears to be fine for a longer period of time. But at some point this issue appears again.

Chris

You have some issue with push notifications.

Hi Anton,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes correct. I noticed it too. I removed the "Traccar" notification type from the device and it appears to at least resolve the connect / disconnect issue. This is fine now. SMS, Email, Web and Telegram notifications work as they should for all devices. Just the "Traccar" notification type itself does not work as intended for all devices.

Can you pinpoint anything specific from the log?

Anton Tananaeva year ago

Not really. You have to check the response payload to see what the problem is.

Ok, let me do some digging and see whether I can pinpoint the cause.

Thanks,
Chris

I have the same problem with GT06N - ST-901 - FMB 920 devices, among others they connect and disconnect and send me intrusively repeated notifications of Power On and if I turn off the notification another assigned notification repeats.

The device is offline, connect and disconnect

Just a quick update.

After upgrading to version 5.11 the previous issue with "Traccar" notification type causing an error vanished ;) In other words, after upgrading all works as intended. I retained the version 5.10 configuration - so not sure who or what did the magic.

Best,
Christian

Please try again. We improved response errors.

@Anton, yes after upgrading to version 5.11 (now 5.12) the error disappeared.
