Interface from Litvak is not a fork of Traccar project. It's just web interface. It still uses official Traccar back-end.
Database schema is different, so there is no way to switch between two.
There is no plan to bring the fork back because it uses outdated technologies and frameworks with poor support from maintainers.
OK. Useful information. I'll better stick to your UI.
Another observation: I have to transmit on port 5006 (xexum protocol) with my TK106 Anywhere tracker. From your list I thought it would use gps103 on 5001. But then I get no data in. The packet is logged though.

For any cheap Chinese device, please read this guide:

Yes, found that page already. Hex is decoded and looks very much like xexun. . Sending data from the tracker to port 5006 works fine. Chinese docs is very bad. Just a strip of paper with some unrelated instructions for use. But ok... this can be expected for just 30 euro's.

Thanks for all your help. I was pointed to the site of Vitaly Litvak where he has made a fork of the UI part of Traccar-server. It seems to have some interesting options. What is your opinion on this mod? It involves some db changes too; so there is no easy way back without loosing all data. Any thoughts on bringing the fork back in, perhaps with option to switch between both UI?
Best regards,
Egbert Jan
