Sound and popup notification - Traccar 5.9

Hello,
I read all the posts in the forum about sound notification on the web interface but I did'nt find an answer. I am trigering a general alarm with my tracker, the popup is showing well the alarm but no sound is playing. I have configured the browser to allow autoplay (I tested with chrome and firefox), but no sound is playing. I have an alarm-xxxx..mp3 present in /modern/assests/ folder. (Traccar version 5.9)

Also is it possible to configure how long the pop stay on screen because it is really short now, like 1 second. Is it possible to configure to popup to stay like 10 seconds or more?

Have you changed the code and compiled the app?

Not for now.

Then I'm not sure why you're expecting it to work. Did you think you can just drop random mp3 files in a random place and it's going to magically work somehow?

The file I mentioned was installed with standard traccar.run installation, I didn't add it by myself.
In the documentation (https://www.traccar.org/notifications/), it is mentionned at the end of the page "Web notifications are delivered instantly without any delay. It is also possible to enable sound for some critical notifications."
Also you mentioned here https://www.traccar.org/forums/topic/notifications-not-working-properly/page/2/ that you added notification sound support.
Do you have an idea why it is not working?

You're right, general categorie was not selected in sound category, sorry about that. It is working now.
Do you think it will be also possible to increase popup time displaying on screen when an event is triggered?

Or perhaps it will be a good idea to leave the popup open until closing it?
