The first thing you do is check the log why it happens.
For instance, it might be that it happens because the device sends data that does not include that ignition or battery status data at some point.
And for the second issue you should check in the log if the device actually sends the battery status.
That is correct. The info is not always sent by the device. With that said, I chose to Copy Attributes of ignition, batteryLeval, blocked so that could be present all the time with the last info updated.
My version is customized so all I had to do is select copy attribute and include the fiels but did not work!
Do you think I might need to restart the service or something else?
When you change the configuration file, you have to restart the service.
Thank you very much.
I replace these setting onto the device attributes. If I do need to restart the service, would I need to do that everytime I add a device and configure it this way or one time restart and it's Good for all the following added devices?
Have you enabled it in the configuration?
Yes , it is nos workshop like a pro!
Awesome.
H ithere!
I was reading some posts and could no find anything.
I am running some devices with GT06 protocol. On the menu (device lists) the Ignition Status and Battery Status is shown but than all of a sudden disappears momentarily... after a few seconds it comes back own.
Some info I found made me think the best way to solve this is to copy atributes but I can't honesly figure out how to do it!
Now, as for the Suntech devices, only igtion status is being reported and no information of battery is shown. Device is running on ST200 protocol and it should be there, should not it?
