Geofence readings from memory do not trigger events

Alcaldejaua year ago

Hi there! I searched the forum but did not find anything so I openned a new post!
I know it may sound weird but I am running a project in a area where GRPS signal is very weak and anthenas tend to be as far as 60km from one another. With that said, I am using ST340UR as a device and a multi carrier SIM. Everything is fine by I need to set proper geofence events.
The events are working fine when the upload occurs accordingly but they are not triggered when past information (from device memory) is sent to the server.

For example: Vehicle ran for about 7 hours into a area with no GPRS whatsoever and entered and exited 2 or 3 geofences that are correctly set to trigger events (as well as the device). When the vehicle is back to GPRS coverage arear, all information from the device memory start to upload to the server but NO EVENT is triggered from those readings sent from memory.

At first the devices where running on LIFO (First in First Out), now I set them o FIFO (First in First Out), thinking that the upload order could the issue but to my surprise I still did not get any triggered events from the upload.

So question is:

  • I know some servers disregard processing events from data older the "X" hours for example, would that be Traccar's case?
  • If not, would there by a command to trigger those "previsous readings"?

Thank you very much to you all

FIFO should definitely solve the problem.
