The easiest option is to host it in Traccar. That way you don't need to worry about special configuration.
Thanks for the response Anton.
I'm not sure I'm following what you mean? Host it in the official Traccar service?
I suppose simply I'm just trying to bring a marker onto my map. I've looked through thr forum and there's no one really explaining how it's done, or not that I can find.
I'm talking about your Traccar server. Host it there.
Yeah, but where abouts do I need to host it?
Put it in the same folder as the web app.
OK, I still don't know what you mean.
Harry, if you have the file ready, and, if you have traccar in your own server, you have to save the kml file in your web folder (legacy or modern), then you have to configure in traccar options the file kml layer
Hi,
I've been using TRACCAR for a little while now and I've searched the forums and internet to find the answer to my question. I'm still struggling.
I have a KML file on my local computer that I would like to upload to my TRACCAR server in order to display Cursor On Target items exported from ATAK. Can someone help me and explain where I should host my KML file?
Thanks,
Harry
