Server time and device time mismatch

Fareed Qureshi2 years ago

Hi,
I have many devices of ATS100 which I recently shifted to traccar, but after shifting I observed there is huge difference between server time and device time. Device is sending time in UTC and same is set on server. Please find below logs in which traccar showing that device has send time 2023-04-11 on 2023-04-15 when I shift it back my old system it is showing correct time of today. Any idea why I am facing this issue.

Have you checked your samples against the protocol documentation to verify what the device is sending? If not, that's probably a good first step.

I have checked through SMS command, I keep getting same sample logs eventhough device is stopped and sending speed 0.

Data from SMS command

Speed:0 km/h;Mileage:25658 km

Even location is wrong.

In your log sample I only see messages that don't have a location, so Traccar is using the last known location. That's expected behavior.

Thank you, but can you confirm what could be the issue and is there any parameter which can be set for these devices.

Anton Tananaev2 years ago

No, I can only confirm that it's not a server issue.

Thanks for your support, it seems some issue in devices. I want to check firmmware of this device ATS100, but unable to find sms command for this, if anyone know please let me know so I can check.
