Some customers use traccar notifications for panic / sos alerts on a control center. They have the web app opened but it's not always the active tab. This makes the browser pause or stop the websocket loosing important traccar realtime events.
This is not very easy to solve on a web app. Anyone else has this problem?
One solution would be developing a traccar desktop app just for notifications, we could also have sound.
Any thoughts on this?
It will solve the problem, but it is a significant effort to implement and maintain.
Hello and sorry for the intromission.
Did you try to enable telegram notifications? In that case notifications will reach the app anyway. (Windows, Android, iOS, Linux)
I use whatsapp instead of telegram. But that's not an option for the client.
And what about enabling sms alarms on devices?
